PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Preliminary Budget for the Town of Stafford for the Fiscal Year beginning January 1, 2024, has been completed and filed in the office of the Town Clerk at 8903 Route 237, Stafford, NY where it is available for inspection by any interested persons during regular business hours. Further notice is Hereby Given that the Town Board of Stafford, New York will meet, and review said Preliminary Budget and hold a Public Hearing thereon at the Town Hall 8903 Route 237, Stafford, NY on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 7:00pm; at which time all interested persons will be heard in favor or against any items contained therein. Pursuant to Section 108 of the Town Law. The proposed salaries of the following Town of Stafford Officials are as follows: Supervisor $14,560.00, Councilman (4) each $5,616.00, Town Justices (2) each $26,255.00, Highway Superintendent $70,500.00, Town Clerk $38,000.00, Tax Collector $5,500.00, Registrar of Vital Statistics $610.00
