Stafford Zoning Board Meeting Minutes

Sept 18, 2023   Meeting Time: 7:00 PM

PRESENT:

Leslie Krajewski           – Board Member

Open regular Meeting at 7:05 PM

 

August 21, 2023 meeting minutes approval

Motion by ZBA Member Thomas and seconded by ZBA Member Balonek to approve the minutes of the August 21, 2023 ZBA regular meeting with noted changes.

Passed 5 to 0.

 

Close Regular meeting and Open Public Hearings.  _7:08_ PM. 

 

Old Business:

   Acting Chairman Boldt read the following Public Hearing Notice.

Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Stafford will hold a Public Hearing at the Stafford Town Hall, 8903 Route 237, on Monday Sept 18, 2023  at 7:00 p.m. regarding an application for a Use Variance to build a Garage at 9694 Roanoke Rd., TMP 12.-1-57 which will be approximately 12 feet from the side property line where 30 feet is required for setback. The application is made by Ian Humphery  pursuant to Town of Stafford Zoning Laws.  Said Zoning Board will meet at the place and time stated above to hear from all persons in connection with such matters.

Acting Chairman Boldt then asked for any comments from the public present at the meeting regarding the application by Mr. Humphrey.

 

        Motion by ZBA Member Krajewski and seconded by ZBA Member Balonek  to  close Public Hearing at 7:24 PM and reopen the regular meeting at 7:25 PM. 

                   Motion passed 5 to 0.

 

Mr. Humphrey  submitted an application for a Use Variance to build a Garage at 9694 Roanoke Rd., TMP 12.-1-57 approximately 12 feet from the side property line where 30 feet is the required setback. The Board Members then processed the environmental worksheet and they found no environmental impact to Mr. Humphrey’s  application.  Therefore, a motion was made by ZBA member Thomas and seconded by ZBA member Krajewski to approve the application by Mr. Humphrey.

Motion passed 5 to 0

Motion was made by ZBA Member Thomas and seconded by ZBA Member Krajewski to close the meeting at 7:35 PM.   Motion passed 5 to 0.
